Wonosobo : Beautiful, Misty and Misterious City

I live on Wonosobo. The birth day of Wonosobo city is 24^th July 1825. So, now Wonosobo is 190 years old. Boundary of Wonosobo at the East is Temanggung and Magelang, Purworejo at the south, Kebumen and Banjarnegara at the west, and the north is Batang and Kendal.

Wonosobo is located in the highlands of Central Java. Therefore, Wonosobo have cold temperature. Many people said that Wonosobo is country in the sky high. Wonosobo have some mountain such as Prau, Sindoro, Sumbing, and Bismo. Every morning, in the some places covered by white mist. It makes cold temperature can be felt up to the bone.

Because Wonosobo is located in the highlands caused Wonosobo have fertile soil for farm of vegetables such as cabbage, potato, chilli and other. In Wonosobo also have tea plantation, it is Tambi Agronomy tourism. And there is endemic plant, it is carica and purwaceng.

In Wonosobo, there are many tourism places such as Dieng plateau, Menjer lake, Sikidang crater, Sikunir hill, Arjuna temple, and many more. So, Wonosobo like paradise of vacation. At Sikunir hill, we can see golden sunrise. At complex Dieng temples, we can see some Hindu temples. And at Dieng plateau, we can see beautiful view from highlands.

Beside that, there is many everlasting culture such as Lengger dance, Embleg dance, and Ruwat Rambut Gembel. Ruwat Rambut Gembel is special culture and event in Wonosobo. Because, in other city, we can not see the event and  this event just once time in year. Rambut Gembel children also just we can see at Dieng plateau.

I am proud to be part of my hometown, because Wonosobo have many enchantment to enjoyed. I love my hometown very much.
